Make it a Shocker sports day and show your support for our students on the men’s and women’s tennis teams as they both host matches Friday, Feb. 7. Both matches have free admission to attend.

  • Men’s tennis will host Texas Tech at 1 p.m. Feb. 7 at Genesis Health Club, 1551 N. Rock Rd.
  • Enjoy free food and drinks as the women’s tennis team takes on Kentucky at 5 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Wichita Country Club, 8501 E. 13th St. N.

The Shocker women’s tennis team has two roster positions available for the upcoming Spring 2025 semester. These positions are walk-on (no scholarship available), but provide the opportunity to be a part of successful and competitive program.

The Shocker men’s and women’s tennis teams will host a fundraising clinic at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at the Wichita Country Club, 8501 E. 13th St. N. Cost is $100 per person and includes tennis and/or pickleball play with the WSU tennis teams and coaches and pizza and drinks.

Join Shocker Tennis coaches and players for a tennis and pickleball clinic from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 at The Wichita Country Club. Cost is $100 for play and food/drink (participants can choose tennis, pickleball or both) or $50 for food and drink only.

Shocker Tennis teams will host a free tennis clinic for faculty, staff and campus innovation partners beginning at 6 p.m. tonight, August 23 at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex. The event is open to all ages and abilities and will be followed by dinner, drinks and an auction for the team’s fall 2022 fundraising league.

Shocker Women’s Tennis is hosting Emporia State at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.  After the match (around 5 p.m.), players and coaches will host a free tennis clinic for all kids in attendance, with free pizza being provided by the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation of Kansas.  Bring your own rackets, or we will have rackets available to borrow.  For more info contact Colin Foster at cfoster@goshockers.com.
