Immerse yourself in discussions with industry professionals, exploring their work, understanding their companies and discovering potential full-time, part-time or internship positions they might offer.

The Fine Arts Career Mixer goes beyond the conventional career fair, providing a unique and enriching experience. By participating, you can gain insights into career possibilities while following your artistic passion.

Join Shocker Career Accelerator from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30 on the lawn east of Hubbard Hall and indulge in the ultimate treat: savor a mouthwatering hot dog accompanied by refreshing, ice-cold root beer, while supplies last, all while immersing yourself in a wealth of valuable information about the Shocker Career Accelerator.

As if that’s not enticing enough, students will have the exclusive chance to connect with over 60 employers and explore their businesses and organizations. Don’t forget to bring your Shocker ID for entry.

Don’t miss the On-Campus Job Fair from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25 on the third floor of the Rhatigan Student Center. Engage with on-campus employers hiring for student assistant and graduate assistant positions for the 2023-24 academic year.

This fair is open to all majors at Wichita State. It’s a great way to meet with staff from various departments across campus who have student assistant, work-study or graduate assistant employment positions available for the upcoming academic year. Dress to meet with employers, bring 20-30 resumes and your fall class schedule. Also don’t forget to make sure your name is on all your documents.
