Master Classroom touch panel training is now available online. The touch panel’s user interface has been updated to enhance the user experience with simple and advanced modes. Visit the CMS 2023 Master Classroom Touch Panel Training webpage for text-based training and video walk-throughs.

Faculty and staff who need classroom technology training or a classroom technology key can visit the Campus Media Services’ (CMS) Classroom Training and Key Checkout page.

The page features the fall 2022 training schedule of when open lab training is available for Master Classrooms and Grey Media Box rooms. Appointments for one-on-one training can also be made on the page.

Campus Media Services will host a provide a preview and feedback session for the new Master Classroom User Interface 1:30-3:30 p.m. April 22 at the Heskett Center (Room 105). This interface will launch during summer 2022 and will be available for all Master Classrooms on campus.

Campus Media Services will begin servicing all classroom computers on Tuesday, Dec. 14 to wipe all user data in preparation for next semester.

If you have stored any files on these computers that you wish to keep, please remove those files and save them to a secure device immediately. All individual user files and data will be erased prior to the holiday break. If you have files that you need to keep, but you are unable to remove them prior to Dec. 14, please submit a CMS Classroom Technology Support ticket.

Wichita State’s Campus Media Services is accepting applications for a student technician position. Campus Media Services student technicians are responsible for responding to immediate support requests for classroom technology (projectors, screens, computers, TV displays and more); and participate in setup, teardown and facilitating mediated events (conferences, speaking engagements, presentations, etc.).

If you are teaching in a Data Projector+ room, more commonly known as a gray box room, this semester please remember to bring an HMDI cable and adapters as these items are not included.

If you do not have an HDMI cable or adapter, Wichita States Campus Media Services has them available for purchase. They can also assist with finding the best options to get started in your classroom.

If you have never used a Master Classroom before or if you would like more in-depth training, you will need to schedule an in-person training session with Glenn Gunnels via email or phone, using the information provided on the webpage.
