The Inauguration of President Richard D. Muma will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29  at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex’s Lowe Auditorium. As part of the Inauguration, we cordially invite each recognized student organization at Wichita State to have one official delegate as part of the program. This delegate will wear a cap and gown, provided by the university, and participate in the processional and recessional.

LeaderShape is a 4 day experience that challenges participants to lead with integrity. This is a nationally recognized organization that facilitates participants through a series of dynamic, challenging, and exciting sessions designed to increase, develop, and launch the leadership capacity of students. This experience will not only benefit them individually, but professionally and the communities/organizations they go on to lead and serve in the future. Participants will cultivate leadership skills, reflect, and discuss leadership lessons within a small cohort or cluster of students.

Wichita State University will host the Institute by LeaderShape Oct. 8-11at Rock Springs 4-H Center in Junction City, Kansas. LeaderShape is a nationally recognized organization that facilitates participants through a series of dynamic, challenging and exciting sessions designed to increase, develop and launch the leadership capacity of students.

Participants will cultivate leadership skills, reflect and discuss leadership lessons within a small cohort or cluster of students. LeaderShape will be held Oct. 8-11at Rock Springs 4-H Center in Junction City, Kansas.

Mentorship is an essential part of the institute, and we are seeking staff and faculty to serve as Cluster Family Mentors. Transportation, food and lodging will be provided.
