Join Spectrum: LGBTQ & Allies for Pride Prom to celebrate queer and trans joy

Spectrum’s annual Pride Prom is fast approaching. Everyone is welcome to uplift and celebrate the magical evening from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 12 in the Marcus Welcome Center Ballroom and dance the night away.

Formal or semiformal wear is encouraged, and attendees may dress on theme if they choose “Captured by the Fae.”

Join Spectrum Feb. 5 for its QT RSO development workshop and free snacks

Join Spectrum: LGBTQ & Allies for a workshop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 5 in 233 Rhatigan Student Center, Santa Fe Trail Room, about developing your own RSO. The focus will be on LGBTQ+ (or QT) RSO development, but any and every idea is welcome.

Presenters will guide you through the creation and approval process, official RSO requirements and guidelines, and how to run a successful RSO. There will be free snacks and plenty of resources for you to utilize.

Spectrum is searching for faculty and staff who may be interested in becoming QT RSO advisors

Spectrum: LGBTQ & Allies will be hosting a QT RSO Development Workshop Feb. 5 in hopes to inspire and educate students to form queer and transgender based RSOs and is searching for faculty and staff who may be interested in advising one of these RSOs that student attendees will develop.

If you are interested in being an advisor, respond to this form.
