You are invited to join Society of Women Engineers for an Egg Drop Competition to celebrate Women’s History Month. The egg drop will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 in the lobby of the John Bardo Center. Collaborate with your team to protect your egg and win first place. All participants will receive a free SWE T-shirt, while supplies last.

Please join Society of Women Engineers for a celebration of Women’s History Month at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 in Partnership 2 room A131. This is an opportunity to relax, learn about some significant historical women, and enjoy sweet treats.

The National Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Hispanic Professional Professional Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers will host a Friendsgiving at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 at the lobby located in the John Bardo Center. Participants are asked to bring a side or dessert if they are able.

Join the Society of Women Engineers for a game night 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Partnership 2 (A130). This event offers participants a chance to socialize and unwind. Guests are invited to bring a board game and a friend.

The Society of Women Engineers will host Susan Randall at its next event at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the Shocker Hall Multipurpose Room. Randall will discuss her career in design, construction and power while providing advice about mentoring and professional growth. Food will be provided.

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) will hold a brainstorming and information Session beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5 at Partnership 2 (room A131).

This is a great opportunity to learn more about SWE membership and the national WE21 conference. SWE also wants to hear from participants about what types of events participants want to attend and what they hope to gain from their time with SWE.

The Society of Women Engineers and Fast Enterprises will host an interview workshop at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Partnership 2 Building (room A131).

The event will walk participants through various interview activities based on the Situation, Task, Action, Result method and allow members to practice answering difficult questions.

Join the Society of Women Engineers for its annual career fair mixer 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at the John Bardo Center lobby.

This event is an opportunity to chat with employers in a casual setting the night before the Engineering and I.T. Career Fair 2-5 p.m. Sept. 14 at the John Bardo Center.

Wichita State’s Society of Women (SWE) Engineers is inviting students to a resume workshop 7-9 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Partnership 2 Building in room A13. Participants can bring a draft resume and receive tips from SWE professionals.

The event is a partnership with the Wichita SWE professional section and will offer participants a chance to prepare for the upcoming Engineering and I.T. Career Fair 2-5 p.m. Sept. 14 outside the John Bardo Center.

Join Wichita State’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE) for an evening of tie-dye 5-7 p.m. Sept. 10 at the John Bardo Center courtyard.

Free SWE-branded T-shirts will be provided for participants in a variety of colors.
