Explore the library’s secrets in a tour of Ablah Library at two tours, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4 or 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15. WSU students and employees may meet by the Circulation Desk for a tour of:

  • 24-hour study room and other study areas
  • Tech Hub
  • Other services, collections and spaces throughout Ablah Library.

After the tour, in 217 Ablah Library, participants will:

  • Explore the library website
  • Locate online articles and books through SmartSearch and individual databases
  • Learn about interlibrary loan
  • Identify their personal librarian

Registration is not required but will provide you with an email reminder the day before the event. This event is part of Welcomefest.

Evolution of WuShock, An exhibition of photos, costumes, and stories of our beloved mascot throughout his history: 1948 to present day. The Looking Glass, outside Cadman Art Gallery in the RSC.

WSU Special Collections has created an exhibit on the many variations of the WuShock mascot, installed in the Looking Glass in the Rhatigan Student Center from now until Sept. 18.

The collection includes portions of five original Wu costumes, along with historic and contemporary images, and some funny stories about the live Wu mascot. This is likely the first time all of these Wu costumes have been collected in one place, so see them while you can.
