Parking Services staff is in the final stages of a parking enforcement software transition from NuPark to Flex. The current software, NuPark, will be discontinued at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4. The NuPark parking portal will not be available beyond then, and the new Flex parking portal will be available starting Wednesday, Dec. 10.

No ePermit sales or citation payments will be available for processing during the transition time. Parking Services encourages everyone to log in to the new Flex portal when available to make sure their vehicle, ePermit and contact information look correct.

Due to this software transition, the Parking Services office will be closed all day Friday, Dec. 5.

As a reminder, holiday break enforcement will begin on Dec. 15, opening green student lots for free parking until Jan. 19, 2026. Yellow faculty/staff lots and all other restricted lots/stalls will still be enforced as usual.

For the Tuesday, Dec. 2 Shocker men’s basketball game, a number of lots in the vicinity of Charles Koch Arena will be reserved for Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization parking beginning at 3:30 p.m. During this time, signage will be in place alerting drivers of the impending lot assignment changes.

Anyone previously parked in these lots will need to move their cars by 3:30 p.m. Any unauthorized parking in a game day lot carries a $50 citation fine.

For the Saturday, Nov. 22 Shocker men’s basketball game, a number of lots in the vicinity of Charles Koch Arena will be reserved for Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization parking beginning at 3 p.m. During this time, signage will be in place alerting drivers of the impending lot assignment changes.

The lobby at Parking Services will have limited hours on Tuesday, Nov. 18 and Thursday, Nov. 20, operating noon-4:30 p.m. both days. Additionally, hours could be limited the week of Nov. 17 due to staffing, any temporary closures will be posted on the lobby door. Staff will be unable to accept Banner payments Nov. 17-20, anyone needing to make a payment that has been transferred to Banner is encouraged to pay via the myFinances tab in their myWSU portal.

Regular enforcement and Shocker Assist mobility rides will still operate as usual.

The Parking Services lobby and drive thru will close at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27 for a staff meeting. Both will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28. Enforcement is still in effect during this time.

There is still a limited number of garage add-on ePermits available for purchase. Any current ePermit holder is eligible to purchase this add-on for $50. The add-on will allow ePermit holders to park on floor two, the ramp to three, floor three and the ramp to four without having to pay the hourly rate.

This ePermit is for sale in person at the Parking Services building lobby or in the drive through on the north side of the building. Payment is to be with cash or check only. You must have a current ePermit on file or you will be required to buy one at the time of the add-on purchase.

Lot 17, west of Brennan Hall I, will permanently close on Monday, July 21 due to building demolition. All vehicles must be removed prior to July 21. Questions on the demolition can be directed to Facilities Planning.

As a reminder, all green student lots are open and free for parking in the summer. All other lots are still subject to enforcement.
