Make art for Homecoming Parade at sunflower workshop today

Join the Shocker Neighborhood Coalition, Wichita State Engaged and Shiftspace as they make sunflowers at 11:30 a.m. today, Sept. 29 at the Atwater Neighborhood Recreation Center.

This event is open to neighbors from the local community. The sunflowers will be collected for a sculpture to be included in Wichita State’s Homecoming Parade on Oct. 30.

Come out and join the Office of Engagement at the Monday Market 2:30-3:30 p.m. today at Braeburn Square. Shoppers can browse and buy from an array of items, including fresh fruits and vegetables. Free swag and books will also be available.
