The Writing Center is now open to provide assistance with all phases of the writing process (brainstorming, paragraph development, organization, etc.) and the opportunity to receive feedback from a tutor. It operates on a walk-in basis, no appointment is necessary. The hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday.

The Writing Center also has tutors available in the Ablah Library on a limited basis. The hours are 1-2 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday; and 2-4 p.m. Sundays.

The Online Writing Lab (OWL) will be available for submissions soon and can be accessed from the Writing Center’s homepage.

The Writing Center and Online Writing Lab (OWL) will be closed from Monday, March 13 to Sunday, March 19 for spring break. Both will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, March 20.

The in-person Writing Center located at Lindquist Hall (Room 601) and the Online Writing Lab (OWL) are available to students 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Both programs provide students assistance with writing projects. Tutors assisting with the program have two business days to respond to online submissions. The OWL can be accessed by visiting the Writing Center’s homepage.

The Wichita State University Online Writing Lab (OWL) will begin accepting papers for tutorials and feedback at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16. Students may submit their writing any time after this. Tutors will have two business days to respond to submissions.

The WSU Writing Center, located at room 601 in Lindquist Hall, will open 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23. The center’s hours are as follows:

  •  Friday: 11 a.m.-to 4 p.m.
