Join the Wichita State Student Activities Council for a discussion about the future of Wichita State’s longest-running tradition, Hippodrome at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at the Rhatigan Student Center (Room 265). Individuals and student organization representatives are welcome to attend. Established in 1928, Hippodrome began as a variety show featuring the comedic talents of students. The history of the program is not without controversy, and some members consider it exclusionary. The discussion aims to move forward together and create a program that showcases the talents of WSU’s diverse student body with an open dialogue on how to create a more inclusive program that highlights the talent of all Shockers. Please bring only two representatives per group to present at the discussion. Please RSVP to attend. RSVP for Hippodrome discussion
