Mary Elliott is pursuing degrees in audio production and guitar at Wichita State. As a recording studio technician at Shocker Studios, she puts skills from both fields to work while helping other students create.
“As both an audio and music student, this opportunity is especially cool for me to be able to take my skills in both fields and use them in a way that helps others,” Mary said.
Mary checks equipment inventory, troubleshoots issues in the recording studios, assists with classes and helps maintain the facility. The work gives her a closer look at what it takes to operate a professional studio.
