Zaid Al Mashni delivered the clinching victory for Wichita State in a 4-3 upset win over No. 34 Oklahoma State on March 8 at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.
Sunday’s victory marked Wichita State’s first win over the Cowboys (12-4) since 1996, and the program’s highest-ranked victory since defeating No. 32 Memphis in 2021. The result also pushed the Shockers (9-7) to its fifth straight win, its longest streak since 2021.
