The 2026 Kansas Gender & Sexuality Conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 6 at the Marcus Welcome Center. As always, the conference is free and open to all students, faculty and staff from Kansas colleges and universities as well as to the surrounding communities. On-site registration is available, and attendees can drop in and out as their schedule allows. This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Barbara A. Kerr, Distinguished Professor of Counseling Psychology Emerita at the University of Kansas and author of “The Psychology of Liberty: Reclaiming Everyday Freedom,” whose talk is titled “Women and Liberty.”
