SEB hosting Women’s Words of Wisdom event celebrating Women’s History Month

Join the Office of Student Engagement and Belonging for “Sip, Reflect, Empower,” a Women’s Words of Wisdom event celebrating Women’s History Month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 3 in 266 Rhatigan Student Center, Pike Room.

This gathering invites you to connect over small bites and tea while honoring community, shared experiences and the wisdom of women in academia at WSU. Enjoy refreshments as you listen to inspiring words of wisdom from WSU women in academia, including:

  • Dr. Sara Mata – Hispanic Serving Initiatives
  • Chantal Nez Domingues – program manager, Center for Public Health
  • Sheelu Surender – assistant vice provost for Financial Aid and Scholarships
  • Dr. Mythili Menon – associate professor and director of linguistics
  • Bri Bell, MFA – academic and retention coordinator
  • Dr. Christie Henderson – assistant clinical professor, counseling – school counseling
