A new distribution box at the RSC provides free opioid reversal medication

Wichita State recently received a naloxone distribution box along with the opioid reversal medication needed to keep it filled from the Office of the Kansas Attorney General.

The box, located on the main floor of the Rhatigan Student Center, provides students and community members with further access to naloxone on WSU’s campus at no cost.

The initiative to deploy naloxone distribution boxes on college campuses across Kansas was made possible by funding from Kansas Fights Addiction, which also funds the substance use Care Kits being distributed by HOPE Services.
