The Beyond the Lab: Research and Reasoning series kicks off a new semester with “Recognizing and Avoiding Junk Science” at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18 in 201 Ahlberg Hall, presented by University Libraries.
Join WSU’s health sciences librarian, Aaron Bowen, to learn how to spot misleading or inaccurate scientific claims. The workshop will walk students through a teaching module developed for public health coursework and equip them with practical tools to critically evaluate information — a vital skill for research and everyday decision-making.
