WSU Math Circle is proud to host the upcoming AMC 8 (American Mathematics Competitions) math contest Jan. 21. Registrations from all eligible students in Wichita and nearby areas are accepted.
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute multiple-choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to develop students’ problem-solving skills and interest in mathematics. It is organized by Mathematical Association of America. Students in grade eight or below and under 14.5 years of age on the day of the competition are eligible.
Those who have a student who is interested in the AMC 8 competition, email the competition manager, Xiaolong Li, at xiaolong.li@wichita.edu to receive an invitation link for registration.
