The College of Innovation and Design is looking for students to join its 2023 NASA SUITS Challenge team — the Harvestars. Students who are interested in joining the team are invited to attend an information session at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15 at Devlin Hall.
This is a multidisciplinary student challenge and the Harvestars have had great success in past competitions with their cross-functional teams. Any current Wichita State student of any major can qualify, especially if they possess the following skills:
- Software development (typically Unity) for augmented reality and virtual reality head-mounted displays
- Human Factors and user interface design
- User testing and research
- Graphic design and video editing
- Engineering and robotics
- Outreach and marketing
- Collaborative team leadership
