All are welcome and invited to learn how to better recognize, intervene, and provide resources for at-risk individuals who may be struggling with suicidal thoughts. This free, in-person training aims to help members of the community support and uplift each other by reducing stigma and empowering individuals to use the “Share, Ask, Support” method to help someone else. Upon completion, you’ll receive a free Suspenders4Hope® suspenders T-shirt to show others that you are a mental health advocate.
Training for November will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 in the Student Wellness Center – Hope Hub at the Steve Clark YMCA.
