Khushi Choudhary, a junior majoring in health management, is gaining valuable professional experience as a student assistant with the Kansas Small Business Development Center (KSBDC) at Wichita State. The KSBDC supports small business leaders as they work toward their goals and contribute to the region’s economic growth.
As her first professional position, the experience has been especially meaningful for Khushi. She assists with business plans, organizational initiatives and other projects designed to help small businesses thrive.
“Coming from a healthcare background, I have always been interested in understanding how systems, leadership and management impact patient care and organizational success,” Khushi said.
