Passionate about helping first-generation students succeed? Join the TRIO Student Support Services team. The team is looking for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with students while also leading the tutoring program.
As the tutor coordinator, you’ll recruit, train, supervise and evaluate tutors; and as an academic advisor, you’ll help SSS participants navigate their college experience through academic, career and financial literacy advising. You’ll ensure the team is connecting students with the resources and support they need to succeed inside and outside the classroom.
Beyond advising and tutor coordination, this position is essential in maintaining the integrity of the federally funded grant through recruitment, documentation and reporting, and program operations. If you have experience in working with tutors, academic advising, TRIO or other grant-funded programs, enjoy presenting to groups and are passionate about creating opportunities for underserved students, TRIO SSS would love to hear from you.
