Join the First Generation Student Organization in collaboration with Wichita State Financial Aid and Shocker Financial Wellness for an informative and supportive workshop designed specifically for first-generation students along with free pizza from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16 in 225 Woolsey Hall. This session will help you better understand scholarships, financial aid and everyday money management while connecting you with valuable campus resources.
The workshop will begin with an overview of the ins and outs of scholarships, followed by two interactive breakout sessions: “eating on a budget resources” and “mastering credit and loans.” Whether you’re navigating financial aid for the first time or looking to strengthen your financial knowledge, this event offers practical tools and guidance to support your success.
