Nominations are now open for two university-wide at-large seats in the Faculty Senate, each serving a two-year term beginning in the 2025-26 academic year. University-wide at-large senators represent the entire faculty, rather than a specific college or division.
The Faculty Senate convenes twice a month during the academic year, meeting from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays.
Eligibility and nomination submission details:
- All faculty are eligible for nomination, including current Faculty Senators whose service term ends this year.
- Self-nominations are strongly encouraged.
- Submit nominations to Lee Ann Birdwell at leeann.birdwell@wichita.edu by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21.
