The 2025 fiscal and academic year annual appointment notices will be available online the week beginning Monday, July 15. They will not be printed and distributed to departments. Please log in and acknowledge your appointment notice by the Saturday, Aug. 31 deadline.

Please note that University Support Staff (USS) and non-benefit-eligible employees (students, lecturers and temporary employees) are not subject to the annual appointment notice process.

Therefore, Unclassified Professionals (UP) and faculty can view, electronically acknowledge and print their 2025 appointment notice through myWSU:

  • myWSU (Chrome is the preferred browser.)
  • Faculty/Staff tab
  • Human Resources links
  • Notice of appointment (You may need to clear the browser cache to see the link.)

The 2025 appointment notices will be available to view, electronically acknowledge, print and revisit through Aug. 31. Due to the sensitive nature of this data, always close the browser to protect privacy.

Contact the Help Desk at 316-978-4357 for assistance with logging into myWSU, if needed.

For questions with any of the information contained on your fiscal year 2025 appointment notice, discuss with your supervisor and they may contact HR.ServiceCenter@wichita.edu if needed.

Note: Appointment notices are generated at a specific point in time* with the beginning of the fiscal year for staff (or academic year for faculty). If your information changes after that point in time, it will not be reflected on the 2025 appointment notice.

*If you were impacted by the FLSA changes that were effective with the June 23 pay period, those will be included on your appointment notice.

Research Place, near Wichita State Connect and the WSU Police Department, will be closed while Facility Services begins repainting starting Monday, July 8. Work is expected to last until Thursday, July 11.

Road markings across campus will then be repainted through July 19, weather permitting.

The Trauma Informed Care Badge qualifies under the Aetna Better Health Workforce Badge Scholarship, which you can apply for online. Wichita State’s Office of Human Resources will operate remotely on Friday, July 5. The physical office on campus will not be open. However, should you need to reach HR, call 316-978-3065 or email HR.ServiceCenter@wichita.edu. It will resume normal business hours starting Monday, July 8.

The Office of Student Accommodations and Testing will offer a new resource for all students this fall semester. Join a virtual presentation from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10 on how Kurzweil 3000 can help increase student success. Participants will need to sign up online, and a training link will be sent to them.

Kurzweil 3000 is an accessibility software designed to help students learn course materials in school. With functions such as text-to-speech, highlighting and integrated notetaking and brainstorming, this assistive technology enables students with learning difficulties to fully engage in what they are learning and to focus on the tasks at hand.
