Graduate students, faculty and staff are invited to the traditional Welcome Party from 3 to 5.30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 at the Ulrich Museum of Art.

Join the Graduate School and the Ulrich Museum of Art for an afternoon with appetizers, drinks and great conversations. Participants can also register to participate in a museum tour or craft a bowl. Space for these activities is limited.

Fall Address 2024. Celebrating 10 years of Innovation Campus

Join President Rick Muma and other university representatives for the 2024 Fall Address at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 in Miller Concert Hall at Duerksen Fine Arts Center. Doors open at 2 p.m. After the Fall Address, light refreshments will be available at the Shocker Success Center in the former Clinton Hall.

The Shocker Career Accelerator will be closed from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14. During this time, the Shocker Career Accelerator encourages students to join the On-Campus Job Fair from 1 to 3 p.m. on the third floor of the Rhatigan Student Center.

Information Technology Services (ITS) is excited to introduce its new Tech Help Desk located in Shocker Success Center (SSC) for current Wichita State students.

The SSC Tech Help Desk will be available to support students on personal devices. In addition to general Help Desk support, services will include:

  • Hardware diagnostics
  • University owned software installations and troubleshooting
  • Providing loaner Chromebooks
  • Limited malware removal

The SSC Tech Help Desk is located on the third floor in the new Shocker Success Center, Room 320.
