Badge program highlight: ASL in Healthcare Settings

ASL in Healthcare Settings: Introduction to Healthcare Interpreting badge

Wichita State’s badge program makes workforce training and continuing education accessible and affordable. Each badge is designed with the practicing professional in mind so coursework can be completed online and at your own pace.

The ASL in Healthcare Settings: Introduction to Healthcare Interpreting and ASL in Healthcare Settings: Medical Terminology badge programs are designed to promote an infusion of resources related to interpreting in healthcare. It will serve as an introduction to the benefits and challenges of interpreting in healthcare settings in an effort to prepare interpreters in making well- informed decisions about their readiness and qualifications for interpreting in these settings.

Employees at WSU may also apply for tuition assistance through July 1 to cover the cost of the badge program in the fall.

To register for a badge program, follow the admission/enrollment instructions. For additional assistance, fill out the badge form and a representative from WSU will contact you to assist you with the admission and enrollment process.
