RSVP by April 12 to learn more about industry-academic collaborations

Join Wichita State University’s Office of Research and WSU Foundation & Alumni Engagement from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, April 19 in the NetApp building to learn how industry and academia can work together to advance fundamental and applied research.

This event includes presentations on the basics of establishing and benefiting from industry-sponsored research projects and SBIR/STTR grants, including current examples of such collaborations from seven WSU faculty members. Two WSU faculty members will also describe start-up businesses that they established while employed at WSU. WSU’s Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will host poster presentations about the research taking place within the departments of Fairmount College and additional academic colleges.
