‘Priced Out: The Future of Wichita Housing’; Wichita Journalism Collaborative to present community listening session

Join the Wichita Journalism Collaborative (WJC) for an evening to dissect a topic that impacts everyone: housing. Renters, homeowners, landlords, policymakers and all other Wichitans are welcome, no expertise required. The session will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26 at the Kansas Leadership Center, 325 East Douglas Avenue.

Attendees will hear from a panel of community leaders and then meet in small groups to collect experiences, ideas and questions about housing for the Wichita Journalism Collaborative. Participants’ insights will help shape the coverage as WJC continues to report on this complex challenge. Advanced registration is encouraged.

The Sunflower and Elliott School of Communications are partners of the Wichita Journalism Collaborative, and members of The Sunflower will represent the student perspective at the event.
