ODI hosts panel for Native American Heritage Month

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) is here to shed light on the rich heritage of Native American people in the community. Join ODI from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 in 233 Rhatigan Student Center, Santa Fe Room, to conclude Native American Heritage Month with a panel discussion.

The panel will include special guests who will help discuss various topics related to indigenous culture, history, traditions, contemporary issues and more:

  • Dal Domebo, Native American program lead of Wichita Public Schools
  • Niomi Sage Thompson, director of Level Up Kansas and member of Board of Trustees for Mid-America All-Indian Museum
  • Daniel Pewewardy, screenwriter, actor, librarian, Indigenous culture advocate
  • Hannah Domebo, forensic science student
  • Aaron Valentine, engineering management student
  • Raylee French, criminal justice student
