The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) is here to shed light on the rich heritage of Native American people in the community. Join ODI from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 in 233 Rhatigan Student Center, Santa Fe Room, to conclude Native American Heritage Month with a panel discussion.
The panel will include special guests who will help discuss various topics related to indigenous culture, history, traditions, contemporary issues and more:
- Dal Domebo, Native American program lead of Wichita Public Schools
- Niomi Sage Thompson, director of Level Up Kansas and member of Board of Trustees for Mid-America All-Indian Museum
- Daniel Pewewardy, screenwriter, actor, librarian, Indigenous culture advocate
- Hannah Domebo, forensic science student
- Aaron Valentine, engineering management student
- Raylee French, criminal justice student
