Seeking participants for a survey of experiences, feelings, acceptability

Study seeks participants who are Wichita State students aged 18 and older and feel they are interested in learning more about how to enhance their ability to interact socially with others. Interested participants will complete an online survey regarding their experiences, thoughts, feelings and attitudes. This survey also provides an opportunity for participants to indicate their interest in participating in additional research at WSU, in which they would have an opportunity to learn skills which some find useful in improving social skills. Those interested in participating further will be contacted if they qualify based on their responses.

Those interested in participating should respond to the screening survey, “Screening Survey for the Impact of Face-to-Face Interaction on Social Skill”, listed in the SONA experiment system. The survey is estimated to take less than 15 minutes, and individuals taking part in the screening survey will earn one SONA credit for WSU courses. Participants may also choose to enter their name for a chance to win a $30 Walmart gift card.

At the conclusion of data collection for the study, three winners will be selected randomly from all survey participants who chose to enter their name for a chance to win. Winners will be contacted via email regarding how to collect their gift card.
