The Muslim Students Association invites the campus community to a lecture presentation discussing women In Islam from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 in 110B Woolsey Hall.
Ustadha Fatima Lette, an instructor at Qalam Institute who also continues to serve her community as a teacher at the Roswell Community Masjid in Atlanta, Georgia, is the guest speaker who will speak about the importance of women In Islam.
Everyone is welcome, and participants are encouraged to bring their family and friends. Light refreshments will be served.
