The Student Government Association’s legislative branch consists of the Student Senate, which establishes policies through legislation and annually allocates more than $11.5 million in student fees. Senators represent specified portions of the Student Body, including each academic college and demographics, such as veterans, out-of-state students, and underserved populations.
Whether it’s discussing college advising, student life, student organizations, tuition costs or a slew of other topics, joining the SGA Senate is a great way to help shape Wichita State in a way that all Shockers can be proud of.
