The SMART Lab Speaker Series presented by the Department of Sport Management delves deeper into the challenges impacting the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. The goal of the series is to come together as a community to identify solutions and/or opportunities on AAPI-related issues through comprehensive discussions.
The next presentation features Marshal Cho, a basketball coach, Jin Park, a PGA golfer, and Yong Chae Rhee, associate professor of Sport Management at Washington State University. RSVP is required, and space is limited. The presentation begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 19 in 155 Corbin Education Center.
The speaker series will offer a forum for discussion of AAPI-related issues so that the community can better understand both the social and psychological issues of AAPI in order to create a more inclusive society.
