The Student Activities Council, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, and Feminists on Campus will be screening Hidden Figures in honor of Black History Month. Screening begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 in the CAC Theater.
The movie is available to WSU students with a Shocker ID at no additional charge, to faculty and staff for $5 and to the general public for $8. Popcorn will be served, and guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets.
Prior to the start of the film, there will be a panel focusing on women and women of color as they break down barriers in the fields of STEM.
