The WSU Mortar Board Senior Honor Society’s book drive is entering its second week and will end on Nov. 19.
The group’s philanthropy is “Reading is Leading,” and its main service event this semester will be donating new or slightly used books for pre-K to fifth-grade students at Minneha Elementary in Wichita.
Donation boxes can be found at the Heskett Center, Shocker Hall, Dining Hall, the north entrance of the RSC, Ahlberg Hall, Ablah Library’s circulation desk, and the Writing Center. Please donate today to help encourage young students’ academic success and joy for reading.
