CAPS seeks volunteers for immigrant mental health research

Are you a first- or second-generation immigrant student? Counseling and Prevention Services (CAPS) is conducting a study to explore college students’ experiences as first- or second-generation immigrants through in-person group discussion.

The purpose of the study is to understand how we can increase mental health resources for immigrant college students.

Once student consent is obtained, students will be provided an e-mail in which a location will be provided for the group discussion. The discussion will take approximately 45-60 minutes. Participants must be at least 18 years old, must identify as either first generation (i.e., I was born in another country) or second generation student (i.e., one of my parents was born in another country), and must be able to read English
