Congratulations to the class of 2022 first-generation students! The First-Generation Student Organization is hosting its first annual Cord Ceremony for first-generation college students graduating in December.
This ceremony will honor these students with a cord and celebrate their accomplishments of finishing as the first — but not the last — in their family to receive a college degree.
The event is at 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 19, in the Marcus Welcome Center. To attend, RSVP by 11:59 p.m. Nov. 13.
