Wichita State’s Association of Hindu Students in America (AHINSA) will host Garba Night 2020 7:30-11:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at the Beggs Ballroom in the Rhatigan Student Center. An integral part of the event is the religious symbolism espoused in the portrait of the Indian deity Durga placed centrally in the Beggs Ballroom. There will also be an open space to dance clockwise around the center.
Traditional Indian cloths are encouraged for wear, but not required.
