CCNE accreditation site visit for School of Nursing taking place Oct. 12-14

The WSU School of Nursing is seeking renewal of accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice Programs from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Part of this accreditation will include a site visit Oct. 12-14. One of the requirements of the CCNE for renewal is to provide an opportunity for input from affected parties regarding the program’s qualification for accreditation status.

This input will include any constituent of the nursing program who can submit their written comments to be shared with members of the evaluation team before the site visit. The evaluation team will consider third-party comments in regards to the accreditation standards, and will at no time during the review process share those comments with the School of Nursing.

Comments will be accepted by the CCNE until seven days before the Oct. 12 visit.
