In celebration of National Prevention Week, May 8-14, Wichita State’s Community Engagement Institute’s (CEI) Prevention Initiative and the Kansas Prevention Collaborative are hosting an event that will highlight prevention efforts at the campus, from 10-11:30 a.m. May 10 in the CEI Harvester Room (#127) at 238 N. Mead. There is also a virtual option. The conversation will provide attendants insight about how suicide, substance misuse, underage drinking, and overdose prevention happens at the campus while discussing what prevention efforts are in place, what measures success, what gaps need to be identified, and other possible ways to offer support. For more information, contact patricia.houston@wichita.edu. Register for May 10 conversation event.
