Wale to perform at Wichita State

The Student Activities Council is excited to announce Wale in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, April 15 at the Charles Koch Arena.

Following the release of his seventh studio album, Folarin II Wale has been touring across the country and performing popular tracks like “Lotus Flower Bomb,” “Matrimony,” “LoveHate Thing,” and his latest release, “Poke It Out.” The Grammy-nominated rap artist has accolades beyond his popular tracks and made history as the first rapper to open the State of the Union, gracing the stage with an unforgettable performance before President Obama’s final State of the Union Address. A regular guest of the First Family, he participated in First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Reach Higher” initiative for higher education.
