In honor of Earth Day April 22, the Wichita State is highlighting several sustainability programs available at the university. The Green Group established Wichita State’s community garden two years ago by working closely with facility services to provide easily accessible raised beds and a compost bin. A variety of herbs and vegetables are grown throughout the spring, summer and fall and are available for students to harvest and enjoy.
