Wichita State University First Gentleman Rick Case, along with the Office of the President and the WSU Alumni Association (WSUAA), will host a Historic Tea at the president’s campus residence this October during Homecoming 2021 week Oct. 23-Oct. 30. Tea times and days available include the following:
- 11:30 a.m. Oct. 26
- 2 p.m. Oct. 26
- 11:30 a.m. Oct. 27
- 2 p.m. Oct. 27
Courtney M. Marshall, WSUAA president and CEO, will give remarks about the history of the president’s home, the presidential partners who lived there — and about the various sets of presidential china that have been used through the years.
The menu features three teas and a balance of savory and sweet items.
Attendees are encouraged to wear hats and gloves. Proceeds from this event will benefit WSU scholarship funds.
