Join Wichita State’s Military and Veteran Services in honoring the founding of the U.S. Air Force during a come-and-go event 1-2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 at Grace Wilke Hall.
The Air Force was founded on Sept. 18, 1947. In the decades since, it has established itself as an air force second-to-none. During the event, the office will also welcome the U.S. Space Command as part of the Air Force structure.
Participants at the event are asked to social distance. Face masks are recommended.
