The Criminal Justice Student Association (CJSA) will host its first meeting today at 3 p.m. via Zoom. The event will feature a speaker from the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers’ Standards and Training.
The CJSA is open to students of all majors and serves to provide students with resources, people, information and experience. In the meetings, members can expect to listen to guest speakers, have access to work opportunities and join in-person field trips.
The topics will encompass law enforcement, corrections, courts, forensic science, homeland security and the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).
To become a member, visit the CJSA Shocker Sync page and fill out an application under forms. There is a one-time, $5 membership fee.
