Vice President Werner Golling will be hosting a come-and-go reception for Lois Tatro 1-3 p.m. Monday, June 7 at the RSC, Room 142 (Harvest Room). Remarks are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Lois will be departing her role as senior associate vice president for financial services on June 13 and entering phased retirement in the Division of Industry and Defense Programs as director of financial special projects. She will continue to assist the university by leading major special projects such as our Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) efforts. Lois began her 18-year career at Wichita State as the enterprise resource planning team leader for the Division of Administration and Finance. In 2006, she was promoted to the position of director of financial operations and assumed leadership for all aspects of this area. Over the years, the role continued to expand to her current position where she serves as the senior AVP of financial services and oversees the Wichita State Innovation Alliance. Prior to working at WSU, Lois was employed by Koch Industries, Pizza Hut Corporation, and Kennedy & Coe. The entire WSU community thanks Lois for the incredible work she has done during her 18-year career here and congratulates her for the opportunity to continue to serve WSU in a phased retirement capacity.
